Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about visiting the orchards, shipping bottles, and our organic certification.

Yes. Pomona & Co. contracts seasonal harvest allocations directly to Dutch retail grocers (Albert Heijn, Jumbo, Crisp), organic specialty markets across Germany and Belgium, and Michelin-starred restaurants. We supply fruit in standardized IFCO reusable plastic crates or branded cartons on Euro-pallets (120×80cm) under certified ULO cold-chain protocols. Download our 2026 Wholesale Catalog above or email our commercial desk at trade@pomona-orchards.site.

Yes, 100%. We never inoculate with commercial lab yeast. Every batch relies purely on indigenous wild yeasts naturally present on the bloom and skins of our heirloom apples. Fermentation proceeds slowly over 4 to 8 months in our subterranean cellars.
During late April and May, we open our private orchard riverwalks for blossom viewings and honeybee photography. Reservations are mandatory to protect the delicate wildflower ground cover and prevent soil compaction around tree roots.
We ship temperature-controlled allocations to private collectors and culinary establishments across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, and the UK using recycled, biodegradable straw cushioning.
We recommend serving our oak-aged Cuvées like a fine White Burgundy at 9°C to 11°C in wide-bowled tulip glasses. Serving too cold (below 6°C) mutes the delicate aromas of honey, wild thyme, and toasted brioche.
